Jamaican Malik Mitchell, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he illegally entered a woman’s home and attempted to take her daughter, of whom he had no parental rights to.
Reports added that Mitchell then proceeded to hit the woman when she tried to stop him
Police went on to say that the victim pepper sprayed the victim before he began to attack her again, this time attempted to choke her out.
Mitchell is charged with first degree burglary, aggravated assault and cruelty to children in the third degree.
