Matthew Lawrence McGuire, 46 of Rome, was arrested on drug charges after being stopped for a broken taillight on Dean Avenue.
Reports stated that when officers stopped McGuire they spotted a tied off plastic baggie containing meth in plain view. A subsequent search led to them also locating synthetic marijuana.
McGuire is charged with possession of meth, possession of synthetic marijuana and improper tail lights.
