Shainia Alexandria Walker Harding, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after she allegedly attempted to murder a 61 year-old man with a hammer.
Reports said that Harding used the hammer in an attempt to cause serious injury to the victim.
Officers added that Harding then proceeded to hit the victim’s vehicle with the hammer, causing over $500 in damages.
While being taken into custody she was found in possession of a glass smoking device containing suspected methamphetamine.
Harding is charged with aggravated assault, possession of methamphetamine, criminal damage to property and possession of drug related objects.
