Nicholus Daniel Mason, 24 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he repeatedly beat another man in the face to the point it became disfigured.
Officers said that when they arrived at the scene they found the victim face down in his own blood. Reports added that Mason was found laying on a bed screaming. Police went on to state that Mason became aggressive toward them and had to be tased before being handcuffed.
Mason is charged with aggravated battery and probation violation.
