William Herbert Wooten, 49 of Cartersville, was jailed in Rome this week after reports said he molested a child under the age of 16 years.
Reports said that back on September 25, 2020 Wooten “placed his tongue inside the mouth of the child before placing his hand on the victim’s vagina with the intent to obtain sexual arousal”.
The incident occurred at a home on Park Avenue in Lindale.
Wooten is charged with two counts child molestation and two counts sexual battery.
