Daniel McAbee, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly went to another person’s home on Morrison Campground Road and shot their dog.
Reports stated that the dog was locked inside a cage on her porch at the time of the shooting.
McAbee is charged with cruelty to animals, criminal trespass and discharging a firearm on another’s property.
