Christian Tyler Combs, 23 of Lindale, was jailed this week after reports said he punched another person in the face during an altercation on Floyd Springs Road in Armuchee.
Reports said that Combs repeatedly punched the victim in the face, resulting in bleeding of the mouth and nose area.
He then left the scene and was taken into custody a short time later at the intersection of US27 and Booger Hollow Road. He was found intoxicated at the time of his arrest.
Combs is charged with battery and DUI.
