A traffic stop in Cave Spring resulted in the arrest of Mason Farrell Tate, 21 of Dalton, and Lisa Marie Edwards, 56 of Cave Spring, on drug charges.
Reports said that Tate was stopped for an equipment violation and in the investigation process officers said that they observed a smoking device in the drive’s seat. The device allegedly contained suspected meth residue.
Edwards was also found with two bags of suspected meth in her purse.
Both are charged with possession of meth.
Tate is also charged with operating an unsafe vehicle and possession of drug related objects.
