Tremell Lanke Taylor, 31 of Augusta, was arrested this week in Rome after he allegedly a 56 y ear-old man while he was trying to call 911 for help.
Reports stated that Taylor attacked the victim from behind, causing the victim to receive injuries to his face and back.
Authorities went on to state that Taylor threw a container of makers at the victim, causing it to break.
Police did not state what promoted the victim to first attempt to call 911.
Taylor is charged with battery, criminal trespass and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
