Dorine Marie Madden, 61 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she wrote numerous prescriptions for her sons and herself illegally using Dr. Robert Madden’s DEA permit.
Reports stated that Madden, while employed at his office, wrote and issued 14 prescriptions without any authorization.
Arrest warrants stated that the crimes occurred between April 2019 and September 2020.
Madden is charged with three counts unauthorized distribution of controlled substances or use of fictitious registration numbers.
