Sherry Marie Brooks, 27 of Rome, and Benjamin David Highsmith, 30 of Rome, were arrested this week after reports said Highsmith sold meth to a cooperating witness.

Brooks, who was with Highsmith, was found with herion in her pants.

Highsmith is charged with sale of meth, possession and distribution of marijuana, two counts possession of meth, trafficking drugs, possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects and two counts possession schedule I controlled substance.

Brooks is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, two counts possession or sale of marijuana, two counts possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony, trafficking drugs, and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
