Gregory Lynn Hunter, 38 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he placed a woman in fear of her life when he kicked open a locked bedroom door with her inside.
The victim told police that she had locked herself inside the room because she was afraid Hunter would hurt her.
The incident occurred back on September 26 at a home on Davis Street.
Hunter is charged with simple assault and criminal trespass.
