A Bartow County couple, Tommy Richard Williams, 48, and Heather Ann Williams, 37, were jailed in Rome for allegedly trafficking methamphetamine.
Reports said that a traffic stop on Ga 1 at the Loop resulted in police locating over 28 grams of methamphetamine in numerous baggies, a large amount of cash and an open container of alcohol.
Both are charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of meth, and possession of meth with intent to distribute.
Tommy Williams is also charged with open container.
