Steven Russell Patterson, 40 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after reports said he stole numerous items from both Lowes and Home Depot.
Reports said that after being stopped he was found in possession of methamphetamine and a syringe.
Authorities stated that he was also found with two stolen chainsaws, totaling nearly $400.
Patterson is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects and theft by shoplifting.
