Steven Andrew Diamond, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he fled from police and was later found in possession of drugs near Rome Housing Authority property.
Reports said that after being found near the maintenance building of the housing authority on Ave B he attempted to flee on foot.
After being captured, officers found a marijuana cigarette near where he was standing.
Diamond is charged with possession of marijuana, obstruction and two counts failure to appear.
