Kendra Elise McCullough, 27 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome after reports said she was found attempting to steal a bike at Kroger on Turner McCall Blvd.
Report said that while being taken into custody McCullough attempted to resist arrest and flee on foot.
After being captured she was found with a needle and heroin. She also allegedly gave police a fake name.
McCullough is charged with criminal attempt to commit a felony, felony obstruction, possession of drug related objects, possession of a controlled substance and giving false information to police.
