Rome Men Found with Drugs During Search Warrant

Cory Robert Shelp Jr, 20, and Oscar Bernard Lewis, 65 of Rome, were arrested during the execution of a search warrant at a home on East 5^th Avenue.

Reports said that Shelp, the resident of the home, was found in possession of methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials, a glass smoking device, marijuana, and Dexmethylphenidate.

Lewis was found in possession of a glass smoking device containing methamphetamine.

Shelp is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, trafficking meth, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and failure to appear.

Lewis is charged with possession of meth and possession of drug related objects.
