Billy Shane Knight, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he placed woman on the ground by her neck while choking her. He then allegedly held a gas can containing gas over her threatening to burn her up.
The incident occurred back in July of this year.
Knight is charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats and acts and probation violation.
