A Silver Creek couple ,Shelby Nichole Leath, 31, and Codi Leigh Howerton, were arrested at a home on Bells Ferry Road after a search warrant turned up a large amount of counterfeit money and numerous drugs.
Police stated that they located methamphetamine while executing the search.
Howerton and Leath are additionally accused of giving police a fake name and date of birth while being questioned in order to hide the fact that Howerton had an active warrant out of Wisconsin.
Both Leath and Howerton were also wanted on a possession of meth charge stemming from July 17 of this year. The drug, a digital scale and fake $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills were found during the execution of a search warrant at 7 Crossridge Drive in Silver Creek.
Both are charged with possession of methamphetamine, 2nd degree forgery, criminal attempt to commit a felony and possession off drug related objects.
Howerton is additionally charged with failure to appear, giving false in formation to police and being a fugitive from justice.
Leath is additionally charged with false statement and writings.
