Two more teens have been charged for the home invasion shooting of a Shannon woman. Police are continuing to investigate the murder and expect other charges to follow against the suspects in custody. 

   A 14-year-old male and a 16-year-old female from Rome are the most recent to be arrested. They are charged with murder and aggravated assault for the death of Laura Regina Ross on August 24 at her Baker Street home. 

   Tyree Kozel Daniels (age 18) of Cedartown and a 16-year-old male from Rome were previously charged on Saturday with murder and aggravated assault. Daniels is being housed at the Floyd County Jail and the teens are at a youth detention facility in Rom

Tyree Kozel Daniels, 18, of Lindale, and a 16 year-old has been charged with the shooting murder of 57 year-old Laura Regina Ross.

Authorities said that Ross was shot inside her Shannon home on Baker Street August 24th.  They stated that the back door to the home was kicked in before she was shot to death. The suspects allegedly went to the Ross home that evening looking to start a fight with another youth.

Ross was able to call 911 but was unable to relay much information.

Daniels is charged with murder and aggravated assault.

The juvenile is also charged with murder and aggravated assault.

More arrests are expected.
