Rome Woman Jailed After Hitting Anther over Head with Hammer

Sherry Mullinax Overby, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week at her home on Dodd Blvd after she allegedly hit another person over the back of the head with a hammer. .

Reports stated that the incident occurred on August 5^th at a home on Flannery Street.

Overby is charged with aggravated assault.
