Megan Alicia Payne, 31 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said she lied to police while being questioned and then was found in possession of methamphetamine.

Reports said that Cole gave officers two different names and dates of birth while being questioned at a location on Georgia Avenue.

Police stated that both used needles and needles loaded with methamphetamine was found in her purse.

She was taken to Floyd Medical Center where she checked using the name “Savannah Danielle Lee” and later used that name at the Floyd County Jail.

It wasn’t until she was finger printed that her identity was discovered.

Payne is charged with identity fraud, two counts giving false information to police, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects
