Cave Spring police arrested two people, Andrew Elijahray Curtis, 22 of Cedartown, and Shelby Nicole Hix, 21 of Lindale, after an altercation on Georgia Street.
Reports said that Curtis ripped Hix’s shirt and left visible bruises on her body.
Hix is charged with making unwanted physical contact with Curtis, leaving visible bruises on him.
Police did not state which contact came first.
Both are charged with simple assault.
