Aspen Lynece Donaldson, 26 of Rome, turned herself in this week after she allegedly wrote a check for $575.27 and received the funds after she had already electronically cashed the same check.
Reports said that the check was cashed at the Hop N Shop back on February 21.
Donaldson is charged with theft by taking.
