Devin Jake Bishop,28 of Rome, was jailed this week after he allegedly stole a child’s bicycle from a home on Melton Avenue.
Reports added that Bishop then allegedly sold the child’s bicycle for $30.
He was later found and stopped at Rome Road at Cemetery Road in Cave Spring. While being searched police said that they located heroin in his pocket.
Bishop I s charged with theft by taking, theft by deception, possession of a schedule I drug, criminal trespass and distracted driving hands free law.
