Shaquinne Tyrone Gallimore, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to stop for an emergency vehicle and proceeded to run from police before being found with an assortment of drugs.

Reports stated that Gallimore was found to have been driving on a suspended license and without insurance before attempting to flee on foot from police.

A search led officers to find a schedule I and II narcotic, a large amount of marijuana, and a digital scale.

Gallimore is charged with obstruction of law enforcement, possession or distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, failure to appear, probation violation, four counts contempt of superior court, operation of a vehicle on approach of an emergency vehicle and driving without insurance.
