Gary Lynn Beard, 60 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly attacked another person with a gallon of milk.
Reports said that Beard hit the victim in the neck and leg with the weapon.
The incident occurred on Bells Ferry Road.
Beard is charged with battery.
