Michael Edward Fitz, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly beat and rammed a door that the victims were using as protection against the suspect.
Reports added that Fitz “raised his arms and made a sudden aggressive movement” toward the victim.
The incident occurred at a home on Big Texas Valley Road.
Fitz is charged with simple assault.
