A homeless 39 year-old Rome man, Garvin Leonard King III, was arrested in the Pocket on Everett Springs Road this week after he terrorized and threatened a woman at her camp site.
Reports said that King held a knife while threatening to cut the woman’s throat. He then proceeded to threatened to burn her camp site down as he hit her on the forehead with his finger.
King is charged with battery and terroristic threats and acts.
