Robert Lincoln Keene Jr, 40 of Calhoun, was jailed in Rome after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend at Chuck’s Corner on South Broad Street.
Reports said that when police while questioning Keene, he lied about his name and date of birth to conceal his identity.
Keene is charged with battery and giving false information to police.
