Stevie Dewayne Connelly, 53 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly hit a woman in the face with his fist.
The victim suffered bruising and swelling to her face.
The incident occurred at the Economy Inn on Martha Berry Blvd.
Connelly is charged with battery and three counts failure to appear.
