Clyde Jess Reeves III,44 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly attacked a disabled woman with a machete.
Reports said that Reeves struck the disabled woman in the head with the machete, causing a laceration to her face.
Reports added that the victim was blind.
The incident occurred at his home on Greenwood Avenue.
Reeves is charged with battery, aggravated assault, exploitation of the disabled and possession of a knife during the commission of a crime
