Brittany Nicole Waits, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found with a stolen car tag.
Reports said that the tag, which was on Waits car, had been reported stolen two days prior.
Waits told police that she had gotten the vehicle four days prior.
She is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
