Adrian Jamar Daniels, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he led them on a chase that disregarded human life.
Reports said that Daniels ran a stop sign and then refused to pull over for officers. He later ran a red light while being pursued by officers.
He was later stopped and taken into custody.
Daniels is charged with reckless driving, operation of a vehicle on approach by emergency vehicles, fleeing, stop sign violation, failure to obey traffic control devices, driving on a suspended license and obstruction.
