Alan Lee Holmes, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he caused a woman to become disfigured from a wreck on Wax Road,
Reports said that Holmes was allegedly under the influence when he caused the wreck while he was driving recklessly.
Police stated that they located several empty beer cans inside the car.
Holmes is charged with serious injury by vehicle, reckless driving, DUI, failure to maintain lane, too fast for conditions and open container.
