Desmion Deaundre Diamond, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to police about his identity.
Reports stated that Diamond, a convicted felon, was also found in possession of a firearm.
After arriving at the jail, Diamond was found with marijuana inside his underwear.
Diamond is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm while committing a felony, contempt of superior court, crossing the guard line with drugs, giving false information to police and contempt of superior court.
