Britney N Moon, 41 of Rome, was arrested at the BP on Alabama Highway near Coosa High School after she allegedly attempted to hide a wanted federal fugitive from police.
Reports added that while being taken into custody police located methamphetamine, scales and drug packaging next to her 7 year-old child.
Moon is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute, hindering the apprehension of a criminal, second degree cruelty to children and parole violation.
