Esteven Vargas Gonzales, 50 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he chased a 57 year-old man down an alley while trying to attack him with a flower pot.
Reports said that the suspect and victim live in the same house together.
Gonzales is charged with simple assault and probation violation.
