Joshua Tristan Thomas, 24 Cedartown, was arrested at a home in Floyd County this week after reports said he grabbed a woman by the throat and attempted to choke her out.
Reports added that Thomas did physical harm to the woman.
Thomas is charged with aggravated assault and battery.
