Kerry Wade Kines, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he injured a 57 year-old woman during an altercation at the intersection of Broad Street and 3rd Avenue.
Reports added that Kines and the victim share a residence on South Broad Street.
Kines is charged with simple battery.
