Jonathan Lydell Loveless, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week at his home on Flannery Street following an altercation with police officers.
Reports said that Loveless was speaking with officers when he pulled a bag of methamphetamine from his pocket and attempted to discard it.
Loveless is charged with possession of meth, two counts obstruction and probation violation
