Keithtavius Lamart White, 26 of Hampton, is facing forgery charges after police said he gave them a fake name and then proceeded to sign a finger print card with the same name.
Reports stated that White was being taken into custody on an active warrant when he allegedly lied to him about his identity.
White is charged with two counts forgery, false statements and writings and giving false information to police.
