Jerry Handley Harcourt Jr,41 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a woman at Mellow Mushroom on Broad Street.
Reports said that Harcourt hit het woman with a closed fist on the left side of her face.
The victim suffered swelling and bruising from the attack.
Harcourt is charged with battery.
