Cortavious Dytre Benham, 17 of Rockmart, was jailed in Rome this week after reports said he shot another man on Maple Street.
Reports said that the shooting occurred back on June 11th.
Benham is charged with aggravated assault.

Zyshonne Middlebrooks, 21 of Rockmart, was arrested this week after being with another person during a shooting that occurred on Maple Avenue on June 11th.
Middlebrooks is charged with aggravated assault.
