Jocilyn Shaneatra Watkins, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she placed her hands around the neck of a 22 year-old man causing visible injury.
The incident occurred at the Economy Inn on Martha Berry Blvd.
The attack occurred in front of two children.
Watkins battery and cruelty to children.
