Johnny Wesley Highfield, 58 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said they found him hiding in the closet in an attempt to avoid arrest.
Reports said that Highfield was found in possession of methamphetamine at his home on Kennemore Road.
Highfield is charged with possession of meth, obstruction and probation violation.
