Shannon Dale Wheat, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week for burglarizing a home and breaking into another’s property.
Reports said that on January 15th Wheat entered a building on Kingston Highway and proceeded to steal numerous items including a chainsaw, weed eater, and a backpack blower.
Then on February 27th, Wheat allegedly entered a home on Woodbine Avenue with the intent to burglarize the residence.
Wheat is charged with burglary, theft by taking and criminal trespass.
