Jaquavious Jakil Carter, 17 of Rome, after he allegedly attacked a police officer as he attempted to break up a fight at the intersection of Crane and East 13th Streets.
Reports said that Carter allegedly pushed the officer before grabbing his hand and neck.
Carter is charged with simple battery against a police officer and felony obstruction.
