Thomas Lamonte Smith, 29 of Rome, was arrested at South Broad United Methodist Church after he was allegedly found to be in possession of numerous individual bags of marijuana, a smoking device with residue, a digital scale and a gun.
Reports added that Smith is a convicted felon, which prohibits him from possessing a gun
Smith is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug related objects and two counts purchase – possession – manufacture – distribution or sale of marijuana.
