A Rome man, Ronald Wayne Salmon, 62 of Rome, is now facing numerous other charges following an investigation.

Reports said that Salmon sold meth to a cooperating witness back on July 3, 13, 27th, and August 23.  Reports added that the transactions were recorded on camera.

Salmon is now charged with Four Counts SALE OF METHAMPHETAMINE,  Four counts POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE WITH INTENT TO DISTRIBUTE and four counts  POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE.

Ronald Salmon, 61, and Jerry Acrey, 57, both of Rome were arrested Monday when officers found drugs and drug-related objects in Salmon’s residence.

According to reports, when officers were at Salmon’s home during an execution of a search warrant, they found Salmon and Acrey in possession of scales with drug residue, two smoking pipes with meth residue, a smoking device with marijuana residue, and marijuana.

Salmon is charged with marijuana possession less than an ounce, misdemeanor possession and use of drug-related objects, and felony possession of methamphetamine

Acrey is charged with misdemeanor possession and use of drug-related objects, and felony possession of methamphetamine

Ronald Wayne Salmon, 61 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly beat a woman with a BB gun before kicking and breaking her ribs and arm.

Reports added that he then left the scene, but was found a short time later driving a vehicle that had a stolen tag.

The incident occurred at a home on Aspin Avenue.

He was captured on Huffaker Road.

Salmon is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, theft by receiving stolen property and driving on a suspended license.
